This app is only available on the App Store for iOS devices.
rePhoto helps turn your iPhone or iPod Touch into a more accurate rephotography device. Use it to take a picture from the same spot days, months, or even decades later, with four overlay methods to align your before and after photos. You can even create longterm time-lapse sequences without having to leave your camera behind.
rePhoto works with both front and back cameras, and can start with any image in your photo library, including images taken by other cameras.
This app was written primarily to support citizen science via Project rePhoto. If you do not want to participate, or are not in an area of the world with active projects, you are still welcome to use the Personal rePhoto feature on images in your own photo album.
What's New in Version 4.2
* Fixes bug where any attempts to add a new rePhoto location cause the app to crash.
* Improved metadata handling
Fundamentally misunderstands its own purpose
As others have noted, this app crashes when attempting to add a photo.
More importantly, perhaps, the maker seems to have confused image alignment with geographic alignment. Being able to geo-align a picture is interesting, if only occasionally useful. I'd think the more common use would simply be to see one photo while snapping another. The design of this app disables the useful function behind a useless gimmick.
Not stable enough to function
Crashes each time I click the '+' button.
It crashes every time I try to add an image.
