The Report Florida Lionfish app was developed by The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission in order to raise awareness of the dangers facing Florida waters by lionfish. Lionfish are an invasive species that threaten Florida’s saltwater fish and wildlife. The FWC encourages people to remove lionfish in Florida waters to limit negative impacts to native fish and wildlife. Lionfish can be speared, caught in hand-held nets or caught on hook and line. The App has information about lionfish as well as the feature to take pictures and report sightings/harvests.

Needs work

Needs an input to specify the date the lionfish were taken, as many divers will do this a day or few after the dive. Also, there is no submit button for the report anywhere I could find. Also, being able to choose an existing image would make things much easier as well.

Just saying location is a bit ambiguous, so it might be a good idea to have a small description stating exactly what you are looking for.

How do I Submit report??

Nice idea, seams simple to use. I saw how to input my report, but there was no submit button. All I could do was go back to the home page. Also, it would be nice to have a place to put how many lion fish were still on the reef. I guess you could put it in the notes though.

No way to submit

How do you submit a sighting? There's no submit button. I am using an iPhone 4s. What happens if you only see them and do not capture them? Please include a link to the sighting capture data in the app.
