Why you should/should not buy
I have played through the original re4, wii edition, and the hd remake for pc. So when I found re4 on iPad I was hyped to play it at school. That was not the case. If you have played re4 and are looking to play through the game like how you did back then on the wii gc or whatever, don't buy this. This is not even close to the original game, I do get that it's 100mb and is hd but I couldn't care less about the graphics, I would rather the story and entire maps back with the original spawn points and collectibles. I do get there are limitations on the iPad, but even the iPhone version had more levels. Yet if you are looking for a new fun game to play on your iPad to kill some time, this is defiantly your game, if it wasn't for me wanting my game back so bad I would have given a 4 star. (read other reviews for why I didn't give a 5 star)

I did enjoyed this but there's a lot wrong. I would have given it a 1 star rating if it wasn't for the fact it's resident evil. Don't go thinking your gonna see any voice acting, animated cut scenes, or straight play through. They took out all the cut scenes and replaced them with soundless text you read with a few pictures at the top. The controls are hard to get used to and once you got used to they they still get me mad. Every time I beat a level it returns me to the level select screen and I have to select the next level and they aren't that long. I didn't play much of the original RE4 but what I did was better than this. Not vary much of the iPads processing ability was used in this game. Buy only if you really want to take a chance and wait to see if they update a lot of this stuff.
Dear Game Makers
I really enjoy the game despite what others may think. However, i do agree with some of their views. this game to be from Capcom, and RE i expected more. i heard a lot of the levels from the actual game are not even transferred to the APP version. Once i reached the end of story mode i knew i was going to have to purchase the next level and i was fine with that, although when i reached the end the add-on in game purchase was down to "Leon auto-refill" wheres my extra level? And if we can't get more of the stages from the consuls than can we at least have the cut scenes when we beat a level. Thanks.
