Do you love SEGA's games so much that their sad demise as a hardware manufacturer just makes you break down in uncontrollable floods of tears and beat your fists on a desk, sobbing for what once was? Does the smug face of that awful shell-popping plumber and his gangly brother just rip your heart out and devour it whole?
Do you sate that internal turmoil by picking up every damned SEGA game you can from eBay, and piling them high on shelves, to hoard, stare defiantly at, rifle through, and keep forever more? Will you pass them on to your children whether they want them or not?
You're not alone, friend. With Retrollect, you can browse Every. Single. Game. ever released in Europe and the USA for all of SEGA's systems, the Master System, Mega Drive, Game Gear, Mega CD, Mega Drive 32X, Saturn, and Dreamcast, tick off those you've managed to snag a copy of, and quickly scour eBay for those you're still hunting down. The app will also automatically find YouTube videos of any game you'd like, so if you've never played it, you can watch a spotty American teenager do just that! You can even email your friends and relatives with lists of games you're missing in the vain hope that they'll scour eBay FOR you! We also feature NON-SEGA consoles if you're weird.
Super quick, super easy, super free. Super Nintendo? Wait, no, we're talking SEGA here! CURSE YOU, RED JUMPING MOUSTACHE!
Now, get collecting! ^_^

Wow, where do I start? Everything's new! Let's start at the beginning:
* FREAKIN' NINTENDO!
Retrollect now includes complete lists for Nintendo consoles (the SNES, NES, and N64, in both PAL and NTSC territories, with more to come), and a couple of rare oddities for fun (the Panasonic 3DO and the Commodore Amiga CD-32).
* Spotlight integration!
Hanging out at the retro game fair or a car boot sale, and want to quickly know whether you really DO have that copy of Power Strike II for the Game Gear? If you've marked it in Retrollect, simply searching for its name in Spotlight will now neatly show up whether you own that game. Handy, right?
* Boxes and manuals!
Want to keep track of whether your collection is boxed, and whether you have manuals for your ultra-rare titles? Retrollect now features stylish blue switches to track JUST THAT. They'll even show up in the Spotlight search. Handier than handy, right?
* Hidden consoles!
Sick of hearing about SEGA? Not nuts about Nintendo? Confused by Commodore? Perturbed about Panasonic? HIDE 'EM! You can now long-press on a console in the list to hide it. If you're not collecting, you're not collecting.
* Side-swipey INDEXES OF AWESOME!
Those neat little A-Z thingies on the side of the game lists are BACK, because I bothered to figure out how to re-implement them with a Realm data layer. They're handy as all get out.
* 3D Touch CHARTS!
3D Touch the icon on your home screen once you've done some collecting. I DARE you. Yeah, that's right, you now get super-quick info on your collection, including nifty little pie charts to show the completeness of your collection. WOO!
There's even more amazing stuff coming soon, too! ^_^
Ratings and Reviews
One of the best collection apps
I usually don't write reviews, but really appreciated that this app was free and the ui is neatly/simply designed. Would donate if I could as I use this all quite a bit!
I know it would be a lot of work, but I would love Game Boy to be added to the list. Other than that, this app has most retro mainstream and some obscure consoles/add-ons, aside from the Atari.
More console options?
Good app overall but I think there seriously needs to be more console options, like PlayStation and Atari consoles, as well as some Nintendo consoles like the GameCube, Wii, game boy, gbc, and gba. Basically everything for Sega is there, so if you’re a sega collector this app is perfect. But if you don’t collect for Sega or you collect for more than just Sega, this will just be an okay option.
Great App for Sega Collectors
I love it and use it all the time to keep track of my Genesis set. It's very helpful in many ways. It's got the option to clear anything one's collected so far, whether its the loose cart, boxed or CiB. The few things I find odd, however, is mixing up a few of the North American Genesis Titles, with some of the Japanese and Pal Megadrive Titles on the Same list. I know it's extra work and, Hopefully I won't sound ungrateful, I'm grateful for what's offered, but, although games like Alien Soldier and Adams Family Values may have been played on the Sega Channel in NA, they really didn't have a physical release. On the other hand, some actual American releases may be missing (Roar of the Beast so far), it would be nice if There was a Pal Section, JP section and NA section, as well as maybe a Repro or later unofficial release section, since there seems to be, some listed in there already. Also if it wasn't too much trouble, it would be really helpful to tell the difference between loose, boxed or cib, by looking just at the list and not having to look into the info of every game (perhaps by having 1 check mark for loose, 2 for boxed or manual and cart, 4 for cib. Adding up checks depending on how much of the game we own, instead of just one check mark to let us know we own the game). The option to see what games I own and which I need is also highly appreciated, to keep track of the progress being made. Overall, it's a wonderful collection tool, especially when you're on the go and I recommend it to the retro community as well as all hardcore Sega fans!
