What's New in Version 2.2.7
Version 2.2.7: Fixes for Chromecast support.
Version 2.2.0 (pre-election release):
LONDON (Reuters) – With the U.S. elections fast approaching, developers at Reuters TV rushed to release a new update to the popular video news app. The new version adds Chromecast support, in-app controls for closed captioning, and push notification enhancements.
Analyst Dobin Ray praised the release, explaining that he’s looking forward to following election night on Reuters TV. He further commented that “The app makes it easy for me to stay informed, either on the Tube or at home on the telly.”
Ms. Isla Martin, a new Reuters TV user in Waltham Cross, mentioned that she’s particularly excited about rich media notifications. “Being able to preview a story directly from the push alert is huge! Text-only alerts seem so basic these days,” she said.
Spokespeople for Reuters TV refused to comment further, noting that they appreciated all user feedback and that further updates are planned soon. The team can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org.
