Description
Reverb allows you to interact with Alexa from anywhere. Via Alexa, Reverb answers questions, reports traffic and weather, gives info on local businesses, provides sports scores and schedules, and more using the Alexa Voice Service.
For correct weather and alerts, please use the Alexa app or website to set Reverb's location and timezone.
Reverb now uses Alexa v2, which adds support for timers, alarms, long form audio, audiobooks, and more.
It can also interact with smart devices that are compatible with Alexa, such as lights, switches, and thermostats compatible Samsung SmartThings, WeMo, Philips Hue, and others.
Alexa is always learning new features, plus thousands of skills like 1-800-flowers, Animal Sounds, and more
Reverb does not support music due to Alexa doesn't allow use of Amazon Music in apps. Only hardware implementations are allowed to play Amazon Music and certain News Briefings.
Try Asking Questions:

Excellent Way to use Alexa on your iPhone
I use Reverb to turn on/off my lights, turn on my record player, and control my media center (through Harmony Hub). Being able to do this anywhere in the house using my phone is a great plus.
Passing text strings along is what makes this a killer app. Using Launch Center Pro, I can pass any string of text to Reverb through the app URL without speaking a word. It's fantastic.
My biggest feature requests are to get Reverb on my Apple Watch and enable a "listening" feature while the app is open on my phone. The latter feature would make it possible to turn old iOS devices into Echo Dots effectively, which would be amazing.
Thanks for all you do and keep up the great work!
Well-designed and easy to use app
The only functionality I've encountered problems is having Alexa read Kindle books. Once the screen goes to sleep so does the audio. Would absolutely love for this to be fixed.
So far so good
I'm trying the app the first time and quite excited about the possibilities for controlling devices through voice . Syncs well too
