- Bug fixes
To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Rick and Morty. The humor is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer's head. There's also Rick's nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation - his personal philosophy draws heavily fromNarodnaya Volya literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realize that they're not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Rick and Morty truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the humour in Rick's existencial catchphrase "Wubba Lubba Dub Dub," which itself is a cryptic reference to Turgenev's Russian epic Fathers and Sons I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Dan Harmon's genius unfolds itself on their television screens. What fools... how I pity them. 😂 And yes by the way, I DO have a Rick and Morty tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It's for the ladies' eyes only- And even they have to demonstrate that they're within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand.
Overall pretty fun
Yes the game is pretty simple, honestly have mainly been playing the multiplayer mode. The game has three types and then a few (3) no types. Everything you could pay for in the game can be bought with time and effort. The three type makes it simpler so it's not near as complicated as other games, seems like they tried to gear it to all ages of players. There is no chat system but that doesn't mean you can't make friends in the game. Always new Mortys to collect when new episodes air. Obviously some mortys have better stats than others but that won't stop me from collecting the mortys I think look the coolest, for example a pirate captain morty. Definitely give it at least a try whether you watch the show or not.
Great game but....
The gameplay is fun and addictive. Love the Pokémon feel. However it's not versatile at all. Your limited to 5 mortys at one time instead of 6 which would create more diversity and longer battles resulting in more exp gains for both player level and mortys. Also adding more animations would be nice, like attack that resemble to attack name. Right now all attacks just looks like basic slaps. Not too interesting to watch if every move does the same slap animation. What I would like to see are different attack animations, more levels, more areas, and more mortys added to the game. Maybe change the whole Rock Paper Scissors aspect and add more morty attributes. These are just a few things that would make the game so much more enjoyable.
