Customer Reviews

Inaccurate, Incorrect & Unsupported!!!

Photo Sundial is the most inaccurate GPS readers I have ever seen! Showing me to be several blocks, and once over a half mile, from my house. Yet, when I switch to any other GPS aware app, to check whether the GPS network is having a problem, and I have tried this with several different apps; they all show me to be within a few dozen feet. Which is about right for civilian level accuracy.

But, the developers of Rick Sammon's Photo Sundial I either didn't know how to use GPS data, or they couldn't be bothered to check the accuracy of what is displayed.

Nor can Photo Sundial reliably tell what city or state I, and my iPhone are in. I live in Albuquerque, New Mexico. But Photo Sundial wants to claim I'm somewhere called: "Mesa Village".

What's more, if I manually enter my address, Photo Sundial will change the spelling of the street I've lived on for almost 50 years! Additionally, Photo Sundial erases the name of my state from my address, as well!

In addition to being incorrect and stubbornly sneaky about giannoying
Then, there is no way to edit your you entered

Cool app

Very useful! I enjoy being able to easily find sunrise and sunset times, as well as the angle of the sun at any time of day. It makes planning my photo shoots during the Golden Hours much easier.

Indispensable

If you want to take photographs of the sunrise or sunset, you need this app.

When exactly is the sunrise / sunset? Where will it be in the sky compared to your vantage point? This app will tell you, exactly.

A feature request old like to make is that 'My Locations' could be synced between devices via iCloud.

If I could pay for this app again, I would. It's that good.
