Customer Reviews

Love the story & graphics

Had to write a review after seeing all the extremely negative one and I mean EXTREMELY NEGATIVE. I thought this game was original and fun, especially in comparison to recent releases. Someone bitched about the intro?? That’s what makes or breaks so many of these games in this genre is the story behind it right? I felt it was well done and felt absolutely pulled in to the game after seeing the intro! These games are so much about the story it blows my mind anyone would tear it apart because of that. I didn’t experience any of the problems others seem to have. Smooth gameplay, excellent puzzles, varied hos. I do agree with the fact the map should be placed somewhere easily accessible, with one click and not in the menu area. We’ve complained about this for quite some time so I guess they don’t give a hoot! Overall I’m happy I purchased and recommend you give it a chance as to form your own opinion. Way better than 2.8 stars! Should be 4.5 so I rounded off to 5. PLEASE GO BACK TO 2 RELEASES A WEEK BF!

No issues/great story

I love the Rites of Passage games & these Devs., but my review is on THIS game.
*I had NO tech issues, I'm playing on my IPhone 5s w/o new Update. (I heard all the issues people had with games & own to many to mess with it)
*Even with the long intro, the story flows very well after & so does gameplay. *Its def for a experienced player. There's no 'helpful msg' option, so 'what can I do here?' appears on most scenes & you just have to figure it out. (Which I like, Idw to be told what to place where, because I'm playing a 'game'.)
I believe if you like the Devs other games it'll be worth it to buy. & It's a long game...finally!
*Devs thanks for the challenge! The maze game was awesome! Finally not just trying to find a way out, you have to go back-and-forth & find object to get out, loved it!

Maybe it’s just me but this deck is hard to follow

This game has some awkward issues such as map under a tiny menu button, an over abundance of repetitive puzzles, and lack of clear instructions. Placement of some objects required my use of the hint button frequently. Hop are varied but sometimes difficult to see objects. Storyline seems a bit disjointed but it was nice not to play a princess for a change. For that reason alone I’ll give it another star. Morphing objects in hop, and paw symbols in every scene- neither of which was explained by the tutorial at least not in custom mode. In fact no instructions were offered in custom in spite of selecting it on the second do-over because I thought I was missing something. While storyline is interesting it seems hard to follow. Play free intro yourself and decide.
