Good but needs tweaks
This app is a great way to access USGS gage data on the go. I'm an aquatic biologist and rely on this app heavily during the field season while traveling and collecting data. The view on map function is most useful, but always reverts to my current location after viewing a gage. This is inconvenient to have to navigate to the same area repeatedly to view different gages. The map feature should be tweaked so that it does not revert to your current location after minimizing a gage.
Great app! BUT no way to contact developer...
I work in the tourism industry on a river. It's my responsibility to evacuate if the waters are rising. The only app I've found with real time updates. Tried to contact developer (it says 'email me' if you have ideas for or whatever in the FAQ section but found no email). A list of what the actual flood levels are at the monitoring location (as in the Flood Watch app) would be nice, but, I can always just commit those to memory.
Great app. A couple suggestions. Should be able to remove a location from favorites. Map view seems to be tied to my current location. When searching an area for Gage's away from my current location back should take me to where I was last searching. Not to my current physical location.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
