a local stream, having access to current river conditions is a sure fire way to land more fish.
Kayakers and whitewater rafters shouldn't be without River Watcher. Don't leave home with your
kayak or raft just to find your favorite river is running low. Check it out first with River Watcher.

Small Bug Fixes
Great app! BUT no way to contact developer...
I work in the tourism industry on a river. It's my responsibility to evacuate if the waters are rising. The only app I've found with real time updates. Tried to contact developer (it says 'email me' if you have ideas for or whatever in the FAQ section but found no email). A list of what the actual flood levels are at the monitoring location (as in the Flood Watch app) would be nice, but, I can always just commit those to memory.
Great app. A couple suggestions. Should be able to remove a location from favorites. Map view seems to be tied to my current location. When searching an area for Gage's away from my current location back should take me to where I was last searching. Not to my current physical location.
Not for fishing!
Would be fine if it provided at least the major guages on the major rivers, but it just samples some gauges and misses a LOT. In Colorado, if you don't cover several areas on the South Platte or the Colorado, for instance, you're not helping. I suspect it's the same for kayakers/rafters. They should have talked to people who actually do the various sports on the rivers of each state instead of just tossing darts at the rivers. A poor bargain even at $.99.
