Say hello to Roadie, the first on-the-way delivery network. No matter what you need to send, chances are there’s a Roadie who can deliver it same day, next day, at night or even on weekends. It’s a faster, cheaper, friendlier way to get your stuff where it needs to go.
Hello Roadie. Goodbye mail fails.
Left your keys at the office? Need your golf clubs in Charleston this afternoon? Roadie drivers can lend a helping hand, for about the cost of gas money. Think of it as carpooling for cargo. No need for boxes, tape and packing peanuts. Roadie lets your cargo ride commando.
It pays to be a good neighbor.
Roadies get paid for driving to the places they're going anyway. Senders post Gigs with details and pictures of their items and drivers choose the ones they like based on location, price, sender ratings and reviews. No bidding or bartering. The Roadie app makes it easy to get paid for doing good.
Note: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
This week we fixed a small bug and worked on performance features that make things work it harder, make it better, do it faster, makes us stronger.

Would be amazing if they fixed the glitches/ if more people knew about it!
I used roadie as a driver this past week while I was driving from Colorado to Pennsylvania visiting family. I highly recommend it! I was able to pick up rides along my route that paid for my gas/tolls/hotels. I do wish they would fix the glitches. I noticed for example when you click on a past conversation it says that the gig is no longer available even when it is. Also there's no notification when someone answers a question that you had.
I also wish you could sort the gigs by location, or how far off your route it is, or by the item's size. Also there should be a way to report senders for intentionally mislabeling the size of the item or what the item is. I noticed there were lots of gigs where the sender would mark a live animal as an object so they didn't have to pay the pet fee and there was no way to report them. Or there were also people labeling large pieces of furniture as "small" items so they wouldn't have to pay accordingly. I wish roadie would police that sort of thing more.
Other than that, the app is great and has TONS of potential. I hope the word gets spread so that more people know about this!
Hey Kelly, thank you for reaching out and for your valuable feedback. Your feedback is spot on, and we truly appreciate your thoughts on how we can make Roadie better. In the meantime, we'll send your notes along to the appropriate team.
Again, thank you for being part of our community and for the kind words. We're working hard to spread the word, so please continue to tell your friends and family about Roadie and our growing community!
Not a fan of the new gig matching
I used to love this's app and used it on numerous occasions. Unfortunately, when I tried using it today I noticed I was unable to select the driver. I needed a large and expensive couch delivered so I stated I preferred a box truck and a driver with help. You matched me with a driver who has a small pick up truck, no help, and an attitude. When I asked him if he had extra help with him he said with attitude "no I don't need help". The item was very large so he would indeed need 2 sets of hands. I ended up canceling the gig and noticed the assignment had been given to a driver I had used in the past who arrived at my location with a drop off that took extremely too long because he had brought his inexperienced wife to help him. He was an amateur delivery man for the size of the furniture he was delivering during my first interaction. Why on earth would you select him to pick up another oversized delivery??? Big FAIL. It is very unfortunate you changed your process. I imagine you will loose many users by taking our ability to choose drivers away. Good luck... you will need it. PS hire someone to answer your customer service phones. Happy to comeback as a user if you switch back to your previous protocol.
Awesome experience so far!
I have drove a few gigs around town and have had nothing but good! I did have one instance where when I got to the pickup location the gig had been transferred to another store. I contacted Roadie and they made sure I was still compensated for the gig even though I did not deliver it since I was accepted for it and arrived to get it.
I have also had to call with questions on what to do for a delivery that required a signature but there was no one home to deliver to, I left a message and got a call back within 5 minutes with an answer on exactly what to do!
This is a great way to make a few extra bucks if you are headed to/from work or on a trip! I have even went out on my day off and made a quick $70 for just driving around in my car delivering luggage!
