Fantastic Game!! :)
I love this game so much!! I was so happy to see that there was a 2nd (and 3rd) RTR as I was getting near the end of the 1st one and did not want to have to say goodbye to this fun, challenging and addictive game!! It was recommended to my sister who then recommended it to me and I would, without hesitation, recommend it to others in a heartbeat. RTR provides a great little escape but not in a mindless way. If you are just starting I recommend playing the first game first because there's a bit of a continuing story line going on. :) I lost my iPhone for a while and RTR was among the things I missed the most (2nd only to Siri). Love it!!!
Good game, slightly tedious
This game has very many elements of awesomeness to it. It is very rewarding to beat every map within the expert time frame. Though sometimes it can get a little monotonous, for example: you have to break a few rocks before you can start the normal part of the game. Ok, a 20 second delay? Why even bother putting that there, it's annoying and pointless. Fortunately this series only rarely does this. The rest of the time you are frantically micro and macro managing your resources and timing it for efficiency. A real winner despite minor shortcomings, I would buy this game again.
Worth the Upgrade! Suggestion..
I am enjoying the game, had it for about a week. The tasks arnt too repetitive, later levels are nice and challenging. I had the free version and i am so glad that i upgraded! Much better levels and accomplishments.
One suggestion is to allow screen rotation. Obviously portrait isn't possible, but my iPad case prefers camera side up, camera side down is the only orientation available, and it can get annoying.
