Please read important disclosures below:

All investments involve risk and the past performance of a security, or financial product does not guarantee future results or returns. Keep in mind that while diversification may help spread risk it does not assure a profit, or protect against loss, in a down market. There is always the potential of losing money when you invest in securities, or other financial products. Investors should consider their investment objectives and risks carefully before investing.

Margin trading involves interest charges and risks, including the potential to lose more than deposited or the need to deposit additional collateral in a falling market. Before using margin, customers must determine whether this type of trading strategy is right for them given their specific investment objectives, experience, risk tolerance, and financial situation.

System response, execution price, speed, liquidity, market data, and account access times are affected by many factors, including market volatility, size and type of order, market conditions, system performance, and other factors.

All securities and investments are offered to self-directed customers by Robinhood Financial, LLC, member FINRA (www.finra.org) & SIPC (www.sipc.org). Robinhood Financial, LLC is a wholly owned subsidiary of Robinhood Markets, Inc.

Be Aware no support other than FAQ

Robinhood doesn't have a phone number to call, they don't respond to emails or tweets. If you have a problem there is no one to help you. Free trading is good but do you really want to give your money to a company youcan't call, or don't respond to your emails and tweets? If you need a transaction history you'll have to wait for your statement the next month. During my mortgage applicaiton I needed to show underwriting my Robinhood transaction history in the middle of the month, because I had transferred some money out of Robinhood to my bank for downpayment. The only way to reach Robinhood is through an online form. I filled the form 2 weeks ago and I didn't get any response other than them sending me my ticket number. I have since then tweeted to their help acount and haven't received anything. Underwriting wasn't approving my mortgage because of this. I have to wait until February to get the monthly statement that shows my transactions. But the closing date is before that. So free trrading yes, but the people or company you trust to give your money can't be reached when you need to. Just go to their website, there is no phone number you can call!!! That will tell you somehing.

Great platform with room for improvement

This is a brilliant platform for anyone wanting to get into trading stocks without paying those discouraging trading fees.

I wish Robinhood had some sort of Advanced Mode that would show detailed charts, and maybe turn off that pesky "buy at 5% above, sell at 5% below market value" thing. I get that's there so new traders enjoy a sure trade every time, but it's a pain to go through the Limit Order dialogue each time for the rest of us, especially after you miss an opportunity because of how long that takes. Right now I'm using ThinkOrSwim for research and detailed info, and Robinhood for the actual buying and selling (free trades, whaaat?!) 👌

I also wish I could turn off cards, especially the Robinhood Gold one that reappears on most launches. I'm well aware of my actions and know I can review them in the History section of the app anytime. 😗

Great so far!

Haven't had any issues--have enjoyed the free trades--saved over 700 bucks in 2016 from this, and I trade only a small amount so this would have been a big deal. The free trades allow me to buy and sell more frequently--I do this mostly for fun and to make just a little extra investment--not trying to make my fortune, don't really have time to do the amount of research needed to plan my trades for long term, so I end up buying selling more often...anyway, rambling now...I like the app quite a bit, no issues so far, easy to use, though I haven't had any reason to contact them yet...
