My favorite app

General Ursus

An app for easily the BEST music podcasts available. Reminds me of reading an old issue of Creem magazine, Rolling Stone, Kerrang or Circus. I actually use this app daily in hopes that Michael Butler will upload a taste of his Rock n Roll chatter. And yes, I am a lurker, not on the forums or phones - just one of a ton of fans who enjoy the podcasts. Whether it's the Rock N Roll Geek Show, Hairbanger's Ball, Indie Cast or a nice Good Clean Fun podcast with Jasper - Butler is always entertaining. Hey Butler - how about a classic album revisted with a 70's era Stones LP or a journey through the GNR Illusion albums with Jasper as a thank you for this 5 star review! That would be super great, couldn't be better. I'd really appreciate it!

If you don't like this podcast you don't like rock music

If you love rock music and enjoy hearing passionate talk from a candid and completely uncensored host, this is the show for you.
Butler obviously adores good rock music and isn't afraid to speak his mind when he feels a band or song is terrible.
This show has introduced me to some great bands I had never heard before and I had thought I'd heard them all!
The show is casual, unedited and unpolished. Because of this, the show is 100% real. Michael spills his guts in a personal way and tells you about his life while hopefully introducing you to some great music.

Those of you giving this podcast a bad review or one star can go back to your Billboard top 100, American Idol stars and lame, overproduced rock albums. Some of us remember real rock and know it still lives on.

we love a train wreck

Michael Butler never fails to entertain. He has turned me on to so many great bands that I never would have heard otherwise. His passion for rock 'n roll always comes through, each and every episode. sometimes I find myself yelling at him or exclaiming "oh no..." but that's a good portion of this show's charm. Rock on brother!
