Rolex Perpetual Spirit Magazine on Exploration
By ROLEX SA
Open iTunes to buy and download apps.
This official Rolex iPad Application, featuring over 90 minutes of videos, nature photography and exclusive content, is a tribute to Rolex's 80-year commitment to the world of Exploration.
Rolex founder Hans Wilsdorf believed in perseverance, taking risks and, above all, innovation, just like the intrepid men and women presented in this issue of Perpetual Spirit.
Watch the films of the world’s deepest dive to the bottom of the ocean floor with Don Walsh; climb up the South Face of one of Nepal’s most revered mountains; dive under the Polar ice cap for a unique perspective on this rich and endangered environment; discover a selection of National Geographic photographer David Doubilet’s mesmerizing underwater photography; and much more.
The quest continues to fulfil explorers’ dreams, which, in turn, help us to achieve our own.
What's New in Version 1.1.1
Well done and full of videos and articles
Very well done and I only wish they released more editions. To those that gave it a low review, they must have had a buggy download or busted iPad because this app is packed with stories and videos.
Nice content (with great pictures and videos). But this needs to be updated for the retina display iPad in terms of font...
Attention to detail?
For a company who is supposed to pride themselves in attention to detail and premium products, this app falls short.
The resolution needs to be updated desperately. The app is lacking a full catalogue and feels disjointed.
Meanwhile, Omega sent me a free catalogue that was put together like a coffee table book. Top notch and every detail attended to with precision and panache.
Rolex doesn't even offer a catalogue.
