Fun, But Pricy

Rolling sky is an exhilarating, interesting game with an inventive concept. The different aspects make this game possibly one of the most fun out of all the games I have downloaded on the App Store. However, there are some problems that need serious solving.

The game overall is very fun to play. I enjoy racing through different obstacles and the colorful, creative themes of each level are quite interesting and amazing. I especially enjoy that you move your “ball” completely manually, making it through each level. However, the cost of having unlimited balls is outrageously pricey. I understand that $2.99 really isn’t that expensive, but why do you have to pay? I also am completely aware of the fact that most free apps include in-app purchases, but couldn’t there be a more efficient system for the developers to make a profit? You could have “perks” like changing the color of your ball, or having lives or other aspects that make the game more fun for younger players. Also, the addition of new levels is nice, but alas, there is a price to pay just to play that level. Why should anyone be limited to about 12 levels (if I’m correct) when there are so many more to play? I personally think it’s ridiculous to have to pay many expenses just to have the full experience of the game.

Overall, Rolling Sky is a very successful, exciting game, but too many money-related issues may just be the downfall of this game.

Before you play, read this. it will help

This game by far, is the most amazing game I’ve played in a while. The song, level design, and game mechanics are extraordinary. The game is an amazing game, back in 2016 and 2017. Now that 2018 and start to 2019, there’s a huge rise in the amount of ads that show up. In 2018 it was bearable. Now as 2019 rolls around, it to me seems like cheetahmobile has gotten desperate with advertisements. I’ve seen 3 to 4 ads consistently in a row for Matrix. That’s a lot for me who is trying to play a level. What worse, I get Disney promotion ads that are 30 seconds long with no skip button. That’s insane. The changes to more ads is so different to me because back in 2016 and 2017, the only real reason to watch ads is to unlock levels or to get balls. No pop up ads, nothing. To present day, the second your ball crashes, boom here’s an ad for you. It’s honestly mind boggling how cheetahmobile has gone this low to put 4 ads consistently in a row. No matter how beautiful the game layout is, it’s still an issue when you get a unskippable Tik Tok ad. So please, if you’re going to play this game, expect it, a minimum of 1 or 2 ads. There’s no bother in complaining if the ad revenue helps cheetahmobile in gaining money. In fact, I wouldn’t be shocked if the game eventually becomes one you need to buy. So please, if you’re considering to play, be ready to face ads everywhere.

Love this game! Addictive!😀

I’ve been playing this game for over three years and might I say Rolling Sky is so addictive and it gives me a challenge. I like how you make a harder and easier version of the levels. (Exp. :Reggae-harder, Mental Rave- easier... Neon-harder, Dazzle-easier) The overall aspect of the game is just so fun! The levels are very colorful and detailed, the music is catchy(love the music... a lot!) and different ball skins are cool, too especially if you get bored with the regular one. The Alan Walker theme is AWESOME (probably because I like Alan walker) and like I said a pretty great game, one of the best.

A few minor things: I get lots of ads👎 and having to watch all those videos for little stuff like gaining only three hearts is a little excessive. There should also be a tutorial button in the settings or something so people know how to play. I had to learn on my own how to play and it took me like a month just to finish Massive and that was the easiest level(at the time when you didn’t have Cloud) but since this game so fun, I’m giving it five stars😉. I definitely recommend this app to anyone who likes a challenge!
