Open iTunes to buy and download apps.
With Room you can store and easily check your hotel room number on your iPhone or iPod touch.
Simply launch Room and type in your room number. Then, when you quit the app by pressing the Home Button, the number will be displayed on the Room icon.
The number is displayed in the same way as the number of unread emails is displayed on the Mail app icon.
You can also add a note to remind yourself which building or tower the room is in, which elevator to take etc.
"Shake" the iPhone or iPod touch to clear your entries.
Note: The comma on the Room app badge for four digit room numbers is controlled by the iPhone OS. We hope to have an option to remove it in the future.
What's New in Version 4.0
iOS 4 compatibility and improvements.
Retina display assets.
This is a good app.
This is a simple app that provides a real service. How many times have your been on vacation and had to dig out your wallet or purse to find the room key for your room number. This makes is so much easier. Many people carry their phone in an "on the hip" holster. And it's always easier to grab than that wallet which you then have to open, remove the card, replace the card, etc. But, grab your phone and there is the room number on the screen. Also if your've discovered that it's in a particular building location or that a certain elevator stops near your room, you can add a short note.
But please, remove the comma from the screen - it just looks weird. I mean, really, have you ever seen a comma on a room number. And how about a delete button or easier way to remove the room number.
A great app!!
I love this app!! There is no need for a comma in a 4-digit room number. It looks strange. A wonderful app for storing any room numbers.
