Appreciating the Concept
The idea of turning color to sound is simply fascinating, however it is difficult to work the app to it's full potential. Recommend for anyone who likes music and science.
does not work
as a synesthete and colorist i really looked forward to exploring the design and outcome of this app. the colors are strangely distorted - even the camera pointed at a bright yellow resulted in a misted gold. The boxes on the bottom of the screen are white with no clue what to do. finally, no sound.
disappointed - especially as i purchased because of a fastcodesign review.
Please fix soon so i can have fun and astound friends.
Seems like a fun app but...
don't purchase if you have an iPhone 4. It's very laggy and for the most part doesn't play any sounds. I've gotten the app to successfully play a note only once since purchasing it a few days ago. The Vimeo video was cool though :p
