Character to-go, please?
It's simply a blank flexible character sheet. Nothing too fancy and easily adaptable to a homebrew content.
The primary strength of this app is the ability to make your own content. Want to make up your own weapon? Just plug in the info and name it "Goblin Killer 1.0". Made up a spell? No problem! You can even put in the school. Made up class? Yes, please!
Now, there is a content search for feats so you don't have to type in the long description for each feat or you can make up your own. But sadly this search function is not included in adventuring gear, weapons, armors, or (most painfully) spells. So each of these are started from scratch.
Also the AC and armor are in no way linked (at least in Pathfinder mode) so creating armor is the same as creating any other type of item with a name and description as the primary features. Thus you can guess that other items do not have the option of influencing abilities unless you go back and change them manually as well.
This slightly annoying downside can be easily overlooked, but sadly having to input all the spells manually cannot. Here the search function option is desperately needed. Thus I say if you like to play a magic based character (cleric included) this app is not for you.
Despite these flaws, the app has a clean easy to use interface and is good for NPCs or the party overview.
Reliable, fast, and easy to use.
I use this app for my 3.75 Pathfinder games to organize my NPCs and PCs. It is easy to use and almost all things can be easily accessed with the swipe of a finger. It does lack a class abilities list, but I utilize the feats list for that function. The only other drawback I see is that accruing a lot of gold at once can be a pain as it is accumulated one piece at a time via a + or - button. This makes getting 1,000+ gold in loot a real pain. Otherwise it is a great app for fast access mobile character sheets.
This App provides exactly what it says it offers: character sheets. The sheets are straightforward and easy to use, and they do not confine the user to preset rpg system templates. This allows for the creation of characters which do not conform to the basic system.
For example, I have created a D&D Rogue with as much ease as when I created a Binder from the Tome of Magic book.
The interface does not restrict the user, and is practical for its purpose. Hopefully the creators will expand it to include other game systems in the future.
