The Robinson-Schensted-Knuth correspondence is a bijection between matrices with nonnegative integer entries and pairs of semistandard tableaux. The implications of this correspondence is of particular interest in the field of representation theory, but it can be understood through simple combinatorial methods. This app is an illustration of the correspondence, and requires no previous knowledge to use. Just tap the screen and watch the tableaux form.
