Ratings and Reviews
I’ve been using the app for about two months and I must say that the new updates have made it a bit better. As far as basic functionality it performs well. I love that I can tap one button to hold calls & save statuses for reoccurring events. I also like the ability to call clients back directly from the message (from Ruby). The only reason why it doesn’t get its fifth star is because I’m still waiting on the ability to text directly from the app and still waiting for the ability to view and set “my normal call handling” information.
Ruby service itself is great. My clients have consistently given great feedback regarding how nice & professional my receptionist is.

Thank you for your review. It’s wonderful to hear what you love about the App, and we appreciate you taking the time to tell us about features you are waiting for! We want to let you know that “texting directly from the App” and “setting normal call handling” are both items on our product roadmap. Please stay tuned for updates throughout this year and next! Thanks again! - Ruby Receptionists
I have been duly impressed with this service. Particularly when when I was in between patients and they forwarded a very important call to me from a patient of mine. I have had no complaints about the answering service and I have noticed that they are very good about matching the clients tone and need as the calls come in. I believe this was money well spent. You get what you pay for and when you purchased the ruby service you were getting extremely high-quality and super smart people that know what they’re doing.

“Super-tool” for call handling
The Ruby app has come a long way since it’s launch. I use it daily to check my calls, read through messages and manage when and how I want my calls answered for different times and dates.
I use the “hold my calls” button all of the time when I need “focus time.” And it’s REALLY cool that I have the option to make outgoing calls on my cell show up as my office number on the caller ID, thus protecting my personal cell number from business folks I may not want to have it. (And I can do this on a call by call basis.)
There are a ton of features that have been added that I’ve been too lazy to learn yet...like scheduling call handling based on my synced calendar (which is also super cool), setting up follow-up reminders, and syncing with my Apple Watch.
I don’t really know how they can make it better, but I’m fairly certain they will.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
