Ratings and Reviews
The fishing role-playing game we never knew we needed.
Absolutely fantastic, a perfect 10/10.
I am proud to make this the first App Store product I’ve ever written a review for. I have only two biases. The first is merely that I’ve always enjoyed fishing in mmorpgs or big blockbuster games that had it as a small little side activity. Yet I’ve never gone out of my way to buy a “fishing game”. The second is that in theme I’ve always had a deep love for the fantasy of being a pirate and sailing the great ocean blue. This game is my dream come true that I didn’t even realize I had. It runs incredibly smooth. The ui is polished to a model standard. The actual fishing itself is incredibly smooth and well fleshed out. It remains engaging and exciting while not requiring you to exert too much effort or focus. The soundtrack is tremendously well made, and never gets old. Lastly, in a world where everything is monetized in every way imaginable, and games are quite literally designed around effective paywalls for milking their targeted audiences... The developers of this game are a sweet blue sky. No ads. No paywall. No IAP purchases. Nothing. This is just an incredibly stylish, smooth, polished, tranquil escape into a world where you can simply be a pirate and enjoy some fishing.
Rather enjoyable experience.
Cute, low-stress fishing game. The fishing itself, while feeling a tad repetitive, is simple enough to understand while still engaging. The dialogues are humorous, and there’s many quests to keep you out and actively fishing. Replay value is limited, other than the gender reversal as you play as the twin (only after you finish the main quests in the game once, I believe). I also encountered a bug when I started playing where the first quest I was given never updated when I completed the goal. This was easily fixed by closing and refreshing the app though.
Lastly I find the rare fish a bit tedious, because there are times where it takes 30 seconds to a minute for one to appear, and other times where it’d take literally 5-10 minutes. It was a bit frustrating, especially in later game when you need to fish several of one type of rare fish and said fish never appears.
