Never wrote a review before but this app deserves it. Great idea!
Update: Still awesome. "I'd buy that for a dollar"
First Time User
It’s a cool app. First time user. Introduced to the app by a business colleague. Very easy to put your items on-line on the fly. Making it more likely that you will list your stuff rather than throw it out or toss it another way. I downloaded the app and made an offer within 4 hours. I also started thinking of all kinds of stuff I could list that I other wise might have just thrown out or let pile up somewhere. A neat way to get some easy money. Which makes it fun to list stuff and buy stuff. Listing was easy. Asking a question was easy. Getting a response was cool. The app alerts you when a response comes in. Putting my payment method in was easy.
Con for me: I’m in the IT industry so I have some expectations when it comes to an app usability. It’s important to me that any user that can read can use the app. This is just to give you an idea of where I am coming from. For me and my first time experience with the app… When going through and learning about how to use Rumgr I went to the “how to videos”. From my iPhone 5S the videos didn’t play. I had to go to the web-site to make sure I knew how to use the service and make sure I was protected. This was frustrating because I was excited about the prospects and wanted to ‘get-to-it’. The web-site is very plain and generic. It definitely could use some help. Spell check would be a good start. My business friend has used the app before so I could relate to their experience. So I went for it! Waiting to find out if there was a deal made has been a bit challenging. It looks to me that there is an intermittent lag from the time someone responds to a question. For me, I was alerted of a response that was made 12 hours prior. Not sure what that is about. I am unsure still if a deal has been made. The seller has 24 hours to accept or deny. I’ll keep you posted. The 3 stars right now is because it’s a cool concept and the front end experience was good. The backend experience needs some serious help.
