Should you choose to upgrade to MVP, payment will be charged to your iTunes account at confirmation of purchase. The monthly subscription costs USD 5.99 per month while the yearly subscription costs USD 29.99 per year or USD 2.50 per month. Subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. There is no increase in cost when renewing.
Subscriptions can be managed and auto-renewal turned off in Account Settings in iTunes after purchase. Once purchased, the current period cannot be cancelled. Any unused portion of a free trial period is forfeited if you choose to purchase a subscription to MVP.

As a novice, very happy
Wanted a way to track my times, pace, and calorie burn as a new runner trying to get in shape and lose weight. The free feature set is great for that. One of my favorite features is auto-pause, which is not on by default, which is very handy if you need to stop during runs for whatever reason or even just if you forget to stop the app so the clock doesn't run on your session for half a day! Another feature I really like is how the app can integrate seamlessly with other apps (such as lose it) and a variety of hardware such as heart rate trackers or scales. And it will even track the mileage you put on your running shoes so you know when they might be nearing the end of their service life.
Premium offers a number of features, few of which are of interest to me besides custom split times. It's also a little pricey and a monthly subscription instead of a one time thing, which is probably my only real con for this app.
Satisfied Longtime user
I've used this app for a long time, whether or not I work out a lot is a different question. But I used to have connection issues with this app and some problems with crashing. Turned out most of the problems were with my Echo Pro, but luckily it was under warranty. This app has also gotten better! I went on a run today, first time in almost 5 months, and had almost no issues. Only issue was in the last leg of my run I felt like playing my music through the app, but it didn't work. Not wanting to screw up my workout in progress I just did without the music. It used to work fine. But after 5 months maybe I just need to re figure out how to make the music play.
Figured out how to fix the app from crashing!
I've been using this app for years, and it has worked great. However, after the latest updates in January, the app has been crashing and losing my data. I tried deleting the app and re-downloading it several times, as well as turning my phone off and on. None of this helped. I realized that the location services for the map my run app specifically had been turned off. This must have happened with the update. I think this is why the app was crashing. So, I accessed the settings on my iPhone, and I turned location services for the map my run app to on "always". The app now works great again and doesn't crash. Hope this saves someone some frustration!
