New layout looks like a kids game

I appreciate the effort to make the app more lively but this WAY overboard. It now looks like a game app my 4yr old plays. I can't stand it. It's cluttered and ugly. Please work on the design and make this look more sleek and well thought out, not like an Easter egg basket of weird icons. The Apple Watch design could use a major overall as well.

Work on more features like more custom announcements, capturing weather data from the run, TRACKING SHOES (come on you don't have this yet!?), exporting runs to other apps and running platforms, friend challenges, etc. Runkeeper excels with its social features such as the feed and joining races with friends but it's a shame the app isn't to par feature wise with many other running apps (see iSmoothRun or RunMeter).

Due to the lake of features and kid like design I'll stick to using another running app which will export my runs in to RunKeeper. I can only use Runkeeper to see my friends feed until we get the features mentioned.

Runkeeper, I'm done. Every major update strays away from what I loved.

The other day I noticed that Sunrise calendar was now integrating with Runkeeper. That was a great addition. I was ready to start using the app again. And then the update happened.

Unfortunately, I agree with other posts that it seems more cluttered. Running isn't necessarily fun all the time. It's mostly about exercise but here we have social connections, DJs and bright colors. Another app where being "fresh" does nothing for me.

Not that I mind having any of the functions Runkeeper has added, it is the degree to which they've been implemented. The app is obnoxiously bright and too child-like for my taste. I agree with one post, saying, in essence, that RK was "dumbing down" the app.

Runkeeper was a great app but those days are long gone. I abandoned this app because it strayed far from its original look and feel. When I saw the new logo, I was thinking the app was returning to a less stylistic theme and going with straight forward running. Instead, you went completely the other way.

Every iteration of this app gets worse and worse stylistically. Is this app actually about running anymore? Usually when someone rebrands all the time, it's a sign of trouble. I thought I would return to using your app. Instead, I'll stick with what I got. Perhaps, Sunrise will eventually integrate with other running apps.

Fabulous App

After trying several popular running apps, I've settled on Runkeeper and I've been using it for the last three years. It has several great features that I love such as keeping track of all my activities not just my runs. I like sharing my rounds with my friends especially the ones that are out-of-state we can motivate each other. The GPS has been very reliable but what I particularly like is that I can take pictures and keep notes of my progress and also the different places that I've been. I really like the new layout. Really easy to use and findings and it's a nice change.
