issues with distance based calculations

This is a pretty good app that is perfect for planning time-based workouts with nicely integrated voice prompts and music support.

My 3 biggest issues:
1). Distance based metrics (total distance run, pace per mile, mile splits, etc) are not reliable at all. I've had numerous occasions where the app incorrectly reports I've run a mile when a map or another gps (garmin) device disagrees. The difference has been as much as a quarter mile in some instances, and I've experienced this in multiple locations. It could be the phone's gps, but I suspect it is not that simple.
2). Music only supports playlists or an entire catalog from my phone. I cannot choose an artist or an album independent of a playlist. The workaround is simple (use iTunes), but it would be nice if I didn't need to resort to that.
3) I am not able to create custom workouts with the level of detail that the pre-programmed workouts have. For example, I can set a time or distance with the choice of "fast, steady, or slow" pace. The pre-programmed workouts that come with training plans are able to specify pace AND time / distance.

Terrible Update

The update has been terrible. Not only is the app significantly slower, Runkeeper now forces users to click through social media screens after every activity has been logged. In other words, it now takes more time to do the same thing the app used to do. Incredibly inefficient and cumbersome. There is no option to opt out of the social media screens, which shows a lack of developer understanding. This app used to work very well, but now it forces social media interaction in the user’s face, takes much longer to complete logging activities than it used to, and runs much more slowly overall. Terrible update, and a very bad understanding of how to work with customers.

Best exercise app I've found

I used to use Strava, but it kept crashing and losing workouts. I also got a Fitbit, and wanted an app that would sync with it and the LoseIt! app. Now The Fitbit app is supposed to track activities too, but I've grown fond of this one. I especially like bring able to turn on (and off!) customized status updates while I'm running - it helps me stay aware without having to try and look at the screen in motion.
