Still poor support for Apple Watch

This update promised fixes for the Apple Watch integration problems. But the problems remain. I had been having issues with the app frequently not capturing my runs when I start/stop a run through my Apple Watch (which is required in order to get heart rate data from the watch). It looks like it's working/recording when you start your run, but then will frequently just silently stop during the run and not capture my run statistics. I will notice this part way through my run as I glance at the watch and see that the app is on the start screen. I'll then just hit start again. But at the end of today's run it only logged the last 1.5 miles of a 4 mile run. Frustrating. The app works fine if you start and stop it from the phone. But when you do that, it will not capture or display any heart rate info from the watch. I gave 2 stars because otherwise this is a fine running app. But this eagerly awaited version update was supposed to fix the Apple Watch problems, and it did not. So 2 stars is the most I could give.

Good app--One Issue with Garmin Connect

Looks like a good app. One star deducted for the following problem. The app receives my runs uploaded to Garmin connect now that I've linked the two apps. The problem is that Runkeeper does not show the proper pace and run time if I pause my Garmin watch during the run. For example, suppose I'm using my Garmin watch and I run one mile in 8 minutes, then pause the run on the watch for 1 minute, then run another mile in 8 minutes. Garmin connect will properly show this as a 2-mile run, with 8-minute miles, and a total run time of 16 minutes. Runkeeper, however, would show it as a 2-mile run, with 8.5-minute miles, and a total run time of 17 minutes. This becomes a huge problem if I take breaks to stretch or cross-train during a run.

Needs work

Elevation isn't consistent. It shows some thing different when I end my run and look back at it later. It also gives different elevation charts for the same routes. This is frustrating when you're trying to get hills in and compare your pace to runs with different efforts.

My music starting pausing when I paused my run and wouldn't restart. I had to play the music through iTunes which then turned off the voice commands I have set to go off every half mile. This is completely frustrating.

I am finding this app to be less and less reliable. I am having to focus on the app and not my running which is not the point of running.
