RunPee: because theaters don't have pause buttons.

By polyGeek

This app is only available on the App Store for iOS devices.

The RunPee database is constantly updated--the day movies are released in theaters--to tell you the best times to run and pee mid-movie...without missing the best scenes. Of course, we provide a synopsis with each peetime, so you will know exactly what you missed.

Besides that, RunPee lets you know if there is anything extra after the end credits.

The built-in Timer will alert you, by vibration, when a peetime is coming--so you don't have to worry about bothering the people around you.

Now you can relax and enjoy the movie...without wondering when to run and pee. We've got you and your bladder covered.

3D User poll

User Subscriptions (Optional)
If you purchase a monthly subscription (3, 6, or 12 month options at a cost of $1, $2, or $4 respectively) then your iTunes account will be charged at confirmation of purchase. The subscription will auto-renew when the time period is up. If you would like to cancel the subscription just go to the iTunes Store and turn off the auto-renew. (Note: must turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before renew date.)

If you are unsure how to turn off auto-renew then just Google: turn off auto-renew subscription on iTunes store, and you will find much better instructions than I could provide in this space.

If you do not cancel the auto-renew then your iTunes account will be charged within 24 hours of the renewal date. Renewal cost will be the same as the original cost of purchase and cover the same length of time.

Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user's Account Settings after purchase.

What's New in Version 3.3.5

* Option to subscribe to the RunPee service and remove advertisements.
* Option to navigate between the synopses when using the Timer.

Use it every movie!!

I use this app for every movie I see. Mainly to check to see if anything happens after or during credits, second to acknowledge the peetimes (i dont use the alert, i just remember what scene they list to go pee). Then when i am walking back i will read what i missed during that pee. I also start my stopwatch on my fitbit at the beginning of the movie so i know approx time of pee-times. The third thing i use it for is reviews. After a while you know which reviewer enjoys the same movies as you do.

The sponsorship idea is weird. I definitely want to give back to the makers of the app, but it said something about ‘x’ amount per movie. Well, i see many movies, and bring up/down the app a hundred times even when i dont see a movie, so not sure how that works. But i heard a new update may be coming out that changes how the give back goes. I look forward to rewarding the reviewers but under a different method-not per movie. Maybe there will be a ‘one time’ support.

Since a lot of movies don't have warnings for certain things like sexual abuse, suicide, blood, and self harm, it would be cool if you guys could make a similar app that tells you the moment something like that is going to happen so people can look away or leave the theater and tell you what happens when you're gone. I think that would be a good idea. Things like that can give people panic attacks and awful sinking feelings and flashbacks and movies are supposed to be a pleasant experience and seeing that is the last thing a victim of trauma wants. I'm just saying that would be really cool and it would help a lot of people.

Great premise, ruined by their own model

I won't give it 1*, because I do use it and it comes in handy for knowing if there is a scene after the end credits. However, like others I paid for this app. There is a reasonable expectation in paying for an app that it won't shove ads down your throat (locking the app until ads have run). The idea of trying to get a subscription fee out of me after I already paid for the app? Laughable. These people do NOT know how to monetize what they have and are forcing users to suffer through their hamfisted experiments.
