The RunPee database is constantly updated - the day movies are released in theaters - to tell you the best times to run and pee mid-movie...without missing the best scenes. Of course, we provide a synopsis with each Peetime, so you will know exactly what you missed.

Besides that, RunPee lets you know if there is anything extra after the end credits.

The built-in Runpee Timer will alert you, by vibration, when a Peetime is coming - so you don't have to worry about bothering the people around you.

Now you can relax and enjoy the movie...without wondering when to run and pee. We've got you and your bladder covered.

DVD Alerts
Don't worry about forgetting to see a movie when it comes out on DVD again. You can sign up to get a one time email when a specific movie comes out on DVD. Just select a movie and go to the bottom of the peetime screen and look for "DVD Alert".

Great idea, poor execution

I love the idea of this app, but I have beef with the notification aspect. Be aware that if you want to use the feature where it gives you a heads-up when you can actually, you know, run and pee, you have to have your iPhone UNLOCKED and with the RINGER ON. I've got all possible notification buttons turned on for this app in Settings, but the only way my phone will vibrate when the pee break arrives is if the phone is unlocked and the app is open and running. Won't work if the phone is on Vibrate; won't work if the phone is on Do Not Disturb; won't work if you've even turned off the screen. So basically, for the Alert feature to work, you have to sit there with a fully-on phone in your lap, turned screen-down so the light doesn't bother people. It completely defeats the purpose.

I know the technology exists to allow the app to run in the background and nudge me even if I've turned off the screen. This is ridiculous. You're better off using the app to get the timing and then setting your phone's alarm to buzz you gently at the pee break. It's nuts.

The app has good information about the movies, gives you a synopsis of what you might miss, etc. I'm not crazy about the ad at the beginning, but I start the app before the lights go down anyway. It's the complete and utter failure of the Alert feature that really grinds my gears.

Can't live without this app! I never miss the important parts of a movie now!

It great to know when to take a break! The hints don't usually give anything away either (I don’t mess with the timer I just read the few clues as to when there is a break). Plus, when on the break, you click the description and it gives you a pretty detailed description of what happens while you are gone so that you really aren't missing anything at all!

I was at the show with some friends and they laughed when I got up (because they knew I had used the app) but then they laughed even more when 3 other people (in the mostly empty theater) got up from different locations and also walked out at the same time, they assumed they had used the app too!

It doesn't cache the data very well. Many theaters don't have good cellular connections (in my experience) and while I read RunPee before I came to the theater and left it on the place I wanted, when I go on breaks it (often) wants to reload everything again and bad connections make this a problem....

They’ve “fixed” the small front problem, but it’s still a little wonky when you enlarge it, but it’s better than it was.

Reliable and silent help

We use this every single time we go to movies. Never disappointed. I put my phone of mute /vibrate. I do keep an eye on it. I've gotten pretty good at estimating the times do I don't have to ck it often. I don't trust that I will feel the phone vibrate so I keep it near.
