Review Updated December 15
I have updated my review and rating.
They finally fixed the app and it seems to be working fine . My best guess is that it was nonfunctional for about 6 weeks.
In reality, there does not seem to be any other good options out there for consumers with regards to NAPLEX preparation.
I stand by by original comments below. I strongly feel RxPrep should have had more urgency and transparency regarding the issue and there resolution.
That being said, there content is excellent for NAPLEX and pretty good for CPJE.
Not able to login after last App update. After 10 days of hollow communication with "Customer Support" they kept telling me to use the desktop browser version. When I pushed back they told me that the Mobil App feature "was just a convenience". Really? Sure looks like they promote it on their store as a feature. They told me they were busy preparing next year's material. I was never given a timeframe for the issue to be resolved just the run-around. The content on the website is very good, that is fine if you are the kinda of person who wants to sit at your computer all day to study. If you are looking for a integrated solution that allows you to study on the fly....look somewhere else. My experience with RxPrep's 'customer support' was dismal. I have read the other similar reviews and agree. They just don't care. They charge top dollar, how unreasonable of me to expect the thing to work.
Definitely needs some updates.
Considering how much the question banks are, I expected to have a much smoother-running app. First of all, having the option to remain signed on would definitely be helpful as well as having the app to adapt to landscape mode. When signed onto the RxPrep website there's an option to redo missed questions, which isn't an available feature on the app. It would also be helpful to have the option to go back a question to reread the explanation. I get that on the NAPLEX going back isn't permitted, but for reviewing purposes this would be helpful. Also, test scores/progress recorded on the rxprep website should be integrated within the app (and vice versa) so you can see your progress regardless of where you're logged onto. The app can also really lag at times and sometimes the questions don't load properly. Overall, a lot of updates need to be made to make this more efficient. It is handy to have on the go though.
