• Payment will be charged to iTunes Account and Apple will send you a confirmation of purchase.
• Your subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your iTunes account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, and identify the cost of the renewal.
• Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user’s Account Settings after purchase.
• No cancellation of the current subscription is allowed during active subscription period.

Overall, I've been very happy with the Sac Bee e-Edition. But lately, I download for offline reading, and when I'm out of WiFi range and expecting to be able to read articles, I get an error message that says I need to download. Later, back in WiFi range, the download is showing even though I already fully downloaded the day's paper. I hit the download again and nothing happens except the download disappears. I exit the paper, come back to it later, and the download has reappeared.
Cannot access The Bee for weeks now
It requires us to verify our subscription then hangs up saying it cannot contact Press+. We have requested assistance and gotten no response. The ap says readers can continue their iPad subscription to The Bee for $5.99 a month which is what we'd like to do. We really don't want to pay $7.99 a month which seems to be the change concurrent with the issues we are now having. Over the last few years there have been many issues with this subscription (every time they make a change, I think), and little to no support. They're real good at collecting our $, though...
If zero were possible I would choose it
I wanted an electronic subscription to the Sacramento Bee. But this app is not how to do it. It runs through Press+ which "manages" the subscription. But even though I have repeatedly shown my subscription receipt they continue to deny I have a receipt.
I called the Bee about it and they said we cannot do anything and then transferred me to Press+ after a 25 minute on hold I finally hung up in frustration.
Avoid this ripoff app.
