"Sage Fusion is a title that easily contends for the role of most intelligent literature on an iDevice that doesn’t also happen to be an eBook." - iFanzine (5/5)
"Sage Fusion is one interesting assembly of game types. The list of good things to say about it is rather long, so it's best you just play the game." - Softpedia (4/5)
"There is always something the story tells and one thing leads to another in interesting ways." - Games in Asia ID (5/5)
Set in a futuristic universe in which artificial intelligence is considered religious taboo, Sage Fusion tells the adventure of a businessman and his bodyguard who visit the planet of Capistad, the capital of the galaxy where two major political powers are centered: the liberal government and the fanatical church. What the two men don’t know is that they’re about to be caught up in a conflict between these two powers.
Sage Fusion is a hybrid between Role-Playing Game (RPG), adventure game, and visual novel. It is different from most RPGs in that it does away with level progression and equipment customization, instead focusing mainly on storytelling and exploration.
This game is the first in a two-episode series.

Minor bug fixes and improvement.
One of the Best IPhone games I've played
I loved this game. I've been looking for games that had good graphics, good story, and a good gameplay. Most only got one, some managed to get two, and the rest only could manage to barely get it. Sage fusion, in my opinion, has all three with flying colors!
I loved the graphics, it was beautiful and it fit the game. Also the story was great! I didn't feel too short and it was quite entertaining. The pacing was nice. I loved how the skills are actually based on the story than the characters randomly getting them just because. The gameplay was fun and quite interesting. It wasn't really hard once you get used to it and was very enjoyable.
The only downside that the mechanics are hard at first and that I wished there was some kind of quest log to know what I needed to do.
Overall I loved the game, I've played both indie and mainstream RPGs on iPhone and only a few are as good as Sage Fusion!
They say if you loved Xenosaga, you will love sage fusion. (the reason why I downloaded this in the first place because one review mentioned this.) I say, if you want a good story with a good gameplay and with good graphics to boot! Play Sage Fusion! :D
Decent but really lacking in some areas
I understand this is more like a movie than a typical game but there are many ways the developers could improve this game.
For starters, this game is too linear and has zero replay value unless you like watching the same story over and over. Why not give the player more choices so that they are willing to play again?
Another gripe is how this story ended. This story is quite obviously far from over and the ending is a very poor resolution to the game. Without a doubt, it leaves a lot more questions open than it solved. I feel that games with stories, even if they are part of stories, should be standalone to some extent. Sure, you can have an overarching plot, but please give the game some kind of closure.
One of the better aspects of this game is that it is free and truly free. There is nothing obstructing gameplay or acting as a pay to win barrier. The only cash-grabber in this game is the ending -- they want you to buy the sequel to see how the story truly ends.
Overall, it's worth playing and probably had more effort put in it than most simple games, but it still has a lot of room for improvement.
A great game of adventure RPG with some puzzles to be solved. There is no leveling. Each opponent except the final boss has HP of 100. All opponents have AP of 10 max.
There is only one sub quest in the game. The final boss of the sub quest (Mega Robot) would require a lot more strategy and skill than the game final boss. The prize is not really worth it either (Tonic).
Overall the game story is great. I am guessing this one is a tease which could be beaten in less than 5 hours. The second one may be worth to buy for $3.
