SAM is a friendly app that offers a range of self-help methods for people who are serious about learning to manage their anxiety.
SAM has been developed by a university team of psychologists, computer scientists and student users. Established methods of self-help have been combined with high standards of usability to provide an engaging, flexible, and practical resource.

The content of SAM is presented in various media formats in order to support users in learning about anxiety and practicing self-help. Although not text-heavy, users will need to study the guidance to get the best out of SAM. Users are encouraged to build their own Anxiety Toolkit of SAM resources that they find helpful and to draw on this for regular practice in managing situations that are associated with anxiety.
SAM may be used with or without the support of a registered health practitioner but you may wish to consult with your local health or well-being practitioner if you are uncertain about using SAM.

A life saver
I saw a post about his app on tumblr, and immediately downloaded it. I have been struggling with GAD, social anxiety, and panic attacks for the past 3 years, and this app has honesty helped me so much. For me I love the voice recording section. It lets me hear myself when I am having a panic attack, which is weird but strangely helpful. I also love how you can customize the app so you have your favorite coping activities right at your fingertips. I seriously recommend this app to anyone struggling with anxiety.
This app has made it a lot easier to manage my anxiety. It's a great resource; the info is thorough, there are customizable techniques at your fingertips, and it's simple and calming in design. I'd love to see an update just to know if it can get any better than it is now.
This app is amazing, I have really bad anxiety especially during school and it helps so much to distract me and get me out of an anxiety attack. My parents are therapists and they've recommended this app to clients. It's such a helpful and friendly interface and it's been a really useful tool.
