Shop & scan, pay & go – that’s it!
Save time by scanning your items when you add them to your shopping cart. Then check out and pay with the app, and your receipt appears on your phone. Show the receipt to the exit greeter and you just beat any long checkout lines.
How Scan & Go works:
1. While you are in the club, open the app and scan each item’s barcode. No barcode? You can look up an item quickly in the search bar.
2. As you shop, you’ll see the running total of the items in your cart.
3. Check out and pay in the app.
4. Show the receipt from your phone on the way out.
Don’t forget - you can share this app with your friends and neighbors.

Overall, this is an amazing app which I truly enjoy using. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars as it isn't consistent. Not all items are listed, and then it's back to the checkout lane. Also, there are times when it connects immediately, and others when I have to re-enter my info, which can be annoying - especially when I was in the same store less than two weeks earlier. Being able to breeze past the registers and head straight to the exit door is generally a wonderful thing. UFO find it humorous that the door people are more apt to check these carts more thoroughly than those with paper receipts. It would be very easy to add something else to one's cart on a busy day, and not have the door person catch it. They don't check those carts closely - a fact I have noticed in several Sam's Clubs in Michigan, Florida and New York.

I love this app. It scans all items immediately. It gives you a running total so you can easily keep track of what you've spent. I only have one problem with the app. As a rule, when I shop at Sams, I am shopping for both myself and my office. I do have both cards loaded on the app so that's great. My issue is that you cannot do two separate purchases in the same trip with the app. You have to get your order barcode scanned at checkout before your screen clears. I have to scan my largest order while shopping and then go to checkout for the other order. It kind of defeats the purpose of the app but still saves some time. All in all I still love the convenience of the app.

What an amazing experience! I downloaded the app in the store, scanned my items as they entered my cart, and scanned my debit card all with my phone. Instead of touching each item five times to get it home (in the cart, on the belt, back in the cart, in the car, and home) I simply scanned as I put everything in my cart, paid with my debit card on the app and skipped the long Saturday lines by walking straight to the exit for the employee to scan my phone, and put the items in my car. Loved it! I highly recommend this to anyone!
