TV's made in 2011 no longer work with app. Thanks for abandoning your customers.
Well I can honestly say that every single tv in our home has been a Samsung brand,we have been very loyal customers for over 10 years. Unfortunately, this app (and other samsung apps) no longer supports any television which was made in 2011, even though we purchased the tv in 2012 and had it a little over a year and a half, it is not good enough for samsung. So, Samsung is going to be losing a very loyal customer to another brand since this is how it likes to treat its customers. Thank you samsung, it has been fun, but as it stands, we will no longer be purchasing anymore TV's, tabs or any electronic/appliances which have the Samsung brand name. I hope more customers follow.
As many other reviewers state, the update previous to the most recent one (today) broke 95% of the app's capabilities. All I can do now is turn on/off my TV, and change the input source. I feel rather lucky just being able to do this, as many reviewers cannot even connect to their TV's anymore. This is pretty ridiculous. Hopefully you don't intentionally/unintentionally update this app. Also, I find it hilarious that it was necessary for the developer(s) to submit an update to the App Store for a change in a license text file. I can only hope they bring back the app's core functionality; until then, it's a 1 star from me, for whatever that's worth.
It's ok buy could be better
Still having issues with the hdmi output after the most recent update but after fiddling with it I figured it out.... Once the app is open switch back to TV output and it will work on the hdmi but you must use your remote tv remote to switch the tv back to whichever hdmi output you're currently using. Once again app must be on tv output and use your tv remote to switch the tv to hdmi 1 or 2.
