Written by SAT experts
=====
The entire SAT wordlist is selected and defined with usage examples by Magoosh’s expert SAT tutors, headed by Chris Lele. He has been teaching the SAT for more than 10 years, runs a popular vocabulary series on YouTube and he’s also written an eBook on vocabulary. He is unbeatable in Scrabble, or any other word game for that matter.

Review that really sticks
=====
Academic research has found that memories are formed by repeated exposure to new information, so Magoosh’s flashcard app uses a spaced repetition system. Concepts and words you are learning will reappear frequently (occurring less frequently the better you know them) and words you already know won’t be repeated.

“I really like the way the words appear and the simple interface to show progress of the user. You guys have put good use of algorithms so one comes out learning the words well. The best flashcard app to date.” - Arif

“Absolutely awesome. This is an excellent way to significantly improve vocabulary in a short amount of time. I learned 100 new words while waiting for my flight at the airport. Good job Magoosh!” - Tameka

1) I suggest that in each set of flash cards, a user can view a list of all the words. Or, when a category such as "learning" is pressed, the words with in it should be displayed.
2) The order in which flash cards appear is flawed; there are always words that keep coming up, yet some haven't shown up at all.
3) Each words should have a few synonyms.
4) Instead of just having two options (know or do not know), there should be an intermediate choice for words that users sort of know. These words should be put in the "reviewing" category.

Awesome app

VoraciousVocab

This is a great app for learning and reviewing the obscure vocabulary that can pop up on the SATs. I love how it goes back to words you already answered correctly just to make sure you got it. A couple times I forgot and had to relearn it. My only suggestion would be having a pronunciation button so I can hear how the words are said. I do better with auditory learning sometimes--especially if I am the one saying it-- and I would like to know how to say it.
