NEW iOS 7 BARCODE SCANNER!
3. Inventory, Attendance, or any Spreadsheet Done!
Create spreadsheets using the barcode scanner in your iPhone. Use this for inventory, cycle count, marketing event scanning, attendance, or other times where scanning to make a list is needed.
A great option for bring your own device (BYOD) barcode scanning and/or inventory.
Email CSV or MS Excel XML formats from your phone, iPad, or iPod.
Use templates to customize column names for each spreadsheet column.
Records GPS coordinates of each scan.
Separates the barcode into different columns using the Parse / Delimiter feature. For example, create a barcode with information separated by a comma. When scanned, the information will go do different columns; like First Name, Last Name and Email.
The date and time is recorded for each scan.
Barcode symbology supported;
- QR Code
- Data Matrix
- EAN / UPC
- PDF417 (drivers license)
- Code 3 of 9
(*10 to 15 characters max)
- Code 128
(*20 characters max)
We've unfortunately had some poor reviews due to barcode scanning performance.
Long values in Code 3 of 9 barcodes can become out of focus in the camera scanner and result in poor barcode scanning performance. Also multiple barcodes close together can be difficult for the scanner to read.
Please download "Scan to Note", a free app from Berry Wing LLC, to test the barcode scanner used in Scan to Spreadsheet.
What's New in Version 3.2
External bluetooth scanner support
additional languages (German, French, Spanish, Japanese, Chinese)
Simple, precisely applicable
We needed a QR scan-to-spreadsheet App, and that is exactly what this is. It issuper simple to set the column header naes in the App, so that when you email out a .csv file,it looks exactly like it needs to. My staff can scan anything we need, and email me the .csv list. i proofread, and forward the file on to vendors. It does exactly what I wanted. And the Berry Wing folks replied immediately to a question I had during sutup, and followed up to make sure their answers worked (which they did).
Impressive and Useful
Will be using this at our nonprofit to check In volunteers each week. Works great with our IDville badge maker/printer. Can't wait to integrate email addresses and more into our bar codes. This app was more robust than I expected and was worth the 2.99 for sure. Couldn't find anything else like it in App Store. Looks like improvements have been made since the first 2 reviews. Haven't seen those problems.
Pretty darn good
Just what I was looking for. Scans barcodes, puts it in a simple spreadsheet that I email to myself at the end of the day. I use Siri to voice input the location make and model of items of the office isn't too loud.
The only weakness is the really small barcodes on some devices. The iPhone camera can't focus close enough and it will have to be keyed in manually.
Light activation from within the app is nice for when I'm in the shadows under a desk.
Great app. I love it.
