Promising App in an Abandoned Space
Location scout apps come and go and never the needs of professionals. The space is wide open for someone to develop a scouting app geared toward photographers that actually works.
This app comes close to filling the void. It has the cleanest user interface of recently updated apps and is very easy to use. The app is almost complete with maps, directions, images, location description, likes, and the ability to create sets.
What is missing?
> Ability to share or send locations via text or email
> Ability to follow other users instead of just liking a location
> Ability to message users for location advice
> Location tagging during creation to improve search
> Add more fields than title and description. Examples are; permit required check box, location contact info, seasonal location, boots required, etc. Encourage users to provide in-depth info about a location to promote using a location and arriving prepared.
All in all a good start to what could be a great for photographers.
