Update fails to deliver
Updated to version 2.0. First time I launched app, it requires name, email, & password to scan in receipts for rewards, or a Facebook login (which I don’t use) to use the app. I needed one more visit to get a $7 reward. After setting up a new account, it will not let me login. It keeps telling me not a valid account & ‘re-sign again’ OR crashes & leaves app & goes to my home screen. I appear to have lost my previous reward visits. Bottom line, do not upgrade at this time!
Updated to version 2.0.1 on 8-4-18, 3 days after writing the above review. Same error messages! Cannot log in! Frustrating! Tried to reset my password about 5 times after reading other reviews so I could log in by using my email address, which is also my user name, but NEVER sends a message to my email address to “update” the log in. Complete failure on Schlotzsky’s for a nonfunctional app.
After re-entering the same user name & password many many times, over about 10 days, I was able to log in & access the app. To continue with my disappointment of this app, just as I suspected, all my previous rewards for $7 off a meal were gone & it was over 72 hours after my last visit, so I couldn’t scan in my last receipt. Not really a pun - but it kind of leaves a bad taste in your mouth.

Better to order in person
There needs to be a setup for online pick. I’ve used this app 3 times and all three times have no been great. It’s a two star because you get your food but the rest is bad. First time I ordered the app said it was going to be a 45 minute wait. So okay that’s cool. I got there and asked for my food a few minutes after and waited another 45 minutes. Not the apps fault but they where not notified of the other items I ordered and payed for. Second time food was not ready again but only waited 3 minutes extra that time no big deal but still not all my order was listed I payed for on there side. This was a different place. Today I got there a few minutes after it was ready and I have to wait 15 minutes because they did not have an online pickup line and again they did not get my whole order. Needless to say they have to get the app so it works for the customer and have everything setup in a way so when can walk in and walk out.
App not reliable
I’ve tried to use the app a couple of times to order online and haven’t been successful yet. Yesterday, when I tried to place an order, I could add items to my cart, but I could never actually place the order for what I’d put in the cart. The “cart” icon was missing on the app screen. I even showed it to the store manager when I got there, and he couldn’t figure out how I could place an online order either using the app. While he was trying to figure it out, he decided to use his own smartphone to see if it would work. It was taking so long to go from one screen to the next, I finally told him I didn’t have time for him to figure out the problem and I would just order without the app (even though I had a $5 online order discount coming to me).
While writing this review, I looked again today, and I do see the cart icon today on the app, so maybe this was a temporary glitch; or they fixed they app.
