In this release we’ve added a new in-depth experience for equity awards account holders that offers a detailed view of share holdings, awards and upcoming vest dates.
Major bug on date format impacting execution of money transfer
I cannot believe that an app from such reputable financial institution as Schwab with whom I have been a client for over 10 years can contain such a trivial bug as ‘Date Format’, especially as it affects money transfer orders! Date keeps switching from screen to screen from ’06/10’ to ’10/06’, leading the user to believe that a money transfer order scheduled for June 06 will indeed be processed that day…only to find out later that the actual date of executing recorded in the system is set for October 06! Worse, when alerted of such mission critical issue, Schwab has yet to take any action…let you wonder how many other mission critical or security related bugs there are in there.
Updated and now I can no longer transfer bank funds
I've been using the app for years and have seen many changes and improvements. We have bank and investment accounts and I can no longer complete a bank to bank transfer...after I enter my transfer info, the "Continue" button stays inactive (greyed out) so I cannot complete the transaction. I have called and sent feedback on this and still no resolution. Hoping it is fixed in an upcoming release. It's irritating to have to leave the app and login to the full website to process this kind of thing.
The app is counterintuitive and harder to navigate than most banking or investment apps. The UI isn't clean, it's cluttered. Most things are jammed packed and navigating through information that matters most to you or me is tedious.
Not too mention notifications. While trading gets notifications, checking accounts don't. This doesn't even cover other notifications that could be useful to users that are provided by other apps. I think it would be great to know when a transfer of over $1000(or any amount in that regard) gets successfully posted!
Schwab's mobile app is miles behind the competition.
