Find it in the Home Section. It’s the top button. Or, just go to the Audio listing page, or Video page and explore by tapping away! You can’t break anything...!
We have found that sometimes installing this new version of the App without first deleting the old version can result in crashes. Fortunately, simply deleting the old version of the app reliably solves this problem. You can delete the App by pressing and holding the Science Friday App’s icon on your device until all the Apps jiggle and display the Deletion icon (circle with X inside) then tapping this Delete icon for this App. You get back to normal mode by pressing the Home button on your device. You may then reinstall this app from here at the AppStore.
Also note we have included a Refresh button at the bottom of the Home Section. This will refresh with the latest content from the server, while you have a connection.
Have fun. Send us feedback. You can always find us at:

What's New in Version 3.0
Redirection to web site
Podcast wont play anymore
I'm not sure what happened here. I'm a third grade teacher and every Friday is Science Friday in my class and my students love it. Everything is centered around science that day, reading, math social studies and, of course science. I started the year playing topic appropriate podcast for my student and they loved listening to them. But then one Friday they just stopped playing and I haven't figured out why. I'm not too irked about the app that simply redirects you to a website, not even sure it should be called an app, but none-the-less the content should at least play on the device. My students and I are all very disappointed.
Shows are amazing
The APP allows quick, easy access to this incredible programming. It may "just redirect" so what? I'd rather tap once versus opening the browser then navigating to the site or bookmark. Anything facilitating access to SciFri content deserves more than a single star :). The world is a better place when people listen to SciFri!
They Killed This App
Okay so after this update literally the only thing this app does is redirect us to the SciFri website. Okay, if you want to retire the app that's fine, I access SF from various places, mostly the Podcasts app and NPR app. It's buggy in all three places but I have to say, why not just pull this app entirely from the App Store? I don't need an icon whose sole purpose is to open safari to a given web page.
Well it's been fun over the years SciFri app, I've loved the programming despite the bugs in playback and downloading. I guess this is goodbye.
