SciVR allows you to explore our incredible Universe and see how astronomers discover extreme and even unique astronomical events happening right now!

We've added new features that download real data as it happens; such as the Astronomer telegrams and Gravitational Wave events and localisation skymaps. In addition we have added more hotspots in the All Sky Viewer and Solar System scenes as well as the option to read information as you view.

Science in VR contains a universe of Virtual Reality content designed to be enjoyed at home with accompanying audio explanations or in public events where astronomers can guide your exploration of the cosmos. Use with google cardboard for full VR mode, or just on your device in '3D' mode.

What’s New

Version 5.0.3

The main additions are:
Solar System: new mars scene with Perseverance and Ingenuity with teleport around. Tap on Ingenuity to make it fly. Also bonus InSight lander.
Star Lab: Dwarf Star pedestal added with Flare Star
Home scene: cosmetic changes.
Start Screen: new icons to start in three different mode: VR, MagicWindow or touch swipe.
AllSky: New hotspot images for an Einstein Ring (the Cosmic Horseshoe) and gravitational lensing (Abell 370)
