Open iTunes to buy and download apps.
Scorekeeper XL is a great app for keeping score when playing board games or party games with your friends.
How to use:
Top left button: add player.
Top right button: sort lowest-to-highest.
Bottom right button: toggle volume.
Bottom left button: reset scores to 0.
When editing a player, you can use the skull and crossbones to delete that player.
To increase a player's score, simply tap on the plus and minus buttons next to their score. If you hold the button it'll count up a lot quicker.
That's about it, have fun!
What's New in Version 1.1
Rewritten from the ground up! Now works in iOS 7.
Look for a bigger update coming soon with some cool new features.
I needed an app like this to have fun with my cousins and play a Hide and Seek point-system game and also play games like Duck Duck Goose and Hot Potato with younger kids. I just have one suggestion for the app and it's okay if you don't add it, the app is awesome how it is. I suggest that you please add a number keypad like other people are saying, so we don't have to keep pushing the + button 5 times if our game has a part of it that gives you more than 1 point. Other than that, perfect score app. Different from all the sports scoreboard apps that wouldn't have fit more than 2 people/teams.
iPad + Apple TV + ScoreKeeper = Instant Score Board
Searched for hours and finally found the perfect app! Need something for our youth group Family Game Night to act as a scoreboard for roughly 15 teams. Searched many scoreboard/score keeping apps but none (paid or free) had the option of automatically rearranging leaders after every round (or every time you update points). This one is what I was looking for. It never came up in my searches because of "scorekeeper" being one word... found it through a series of "related app" scrolling.
Gorgeous and simple
I got so lucky in my search for a great score keeping app this afternoon playing Mexican Train with my family. I love the way it looks. It's simple and easy to use. I was even able to color each player's data to match their train color! If I could add one feature, I think I'd like to be able to count by some other number. For example, for count dominoes it'd be nice to be able to score by fives. But I really love this app!
