Having troubles from the get-go
I am using a macbook pro 10.7.5 and i can design pages all i want, but heaven forbid I actually attempt to add photos to the page or remove a background completely to keep the background white, or change the aspect ratio of borders. or even unlock the background, or even SAVE a page that’s been created. I had the creative memories suite on my old computer before I changed over to mac and I guess I got spoiled by the ease of that software. If the general zoom were able to be done by the pinching the touchpad, that would be easier, but that's not available on the macbook.
It seems a lot of the features this app touts are designed solely for the iPad, and not converted very well for the macbooks. I hope these bugs can be fixed and soon! I have about 10 years worth of pics that i need to update into scrapbooking!
I would be glad to upgrade the star rating after these fixes. I have sent an email to the company, but it's been too soon to be able to tell what their customer service is like
One thing I do like is if you have external embellishments that are .png formats, you can drag & drop them onto the page to help decorate your page with.
Facebook integration is a big upgrade
A fun, feature-rich scrapbook builder. It's really easy to get started. It comes with a large collection of high-rez graphics to build your scrapbooks.
The ability to post albums to Facebook is a great new feature. There's also a number of bug fixes in this version.
Lots of bugs to fix
I have a 13" 2011 mac air and this app just does not run as smoothly as I would have hoped, it seems to freeze repeatedly or get stuck. I am repeatedly having to leave out of the scrap book I am working in and get back into it for it work properly. There is no way to set borders for pictures, it looks like it is something they've put into the ipad version but it hasn't made it over to here yet.
