Decent app, abandoned Snow Leopard Users!

This app is decent enough --- works reasonably well.

However, I feel like a "bait and switch" took place. I downloaded and installed the app on my OS X Snow Leopard Macbook Pro. Now the developer is releasing updates for OS X Lion *only* and has abandoned all of his Snow Leopard customers. I am unable to upgrade my laptop to OS X Lion because I need it to test Snow Leopard compatibility of certain apps that I work on. So that means I can't get updates to this app, Screenshots, through no fault of my own ...

So the developer took my $9.99 and now has abandoned me by restricting updates to OS X Lion only. I feel uncomfortable about that.

I'm sure the developer is a decent person, and as a fellow developer, I don't want to be too harsh in my criticism. But limiting updates to Lion only was a BAD business decision.

So buy this app with some caution ...

Not the solutons I was hoping for

I bought this thinking it was a solution get a graphic file of the contents of an entire window including content beyond the area showing on screen -- it does not do that.

Not what I was hoping for

I bought this to be able to capture screenshots of websites in one click. And while the app has a very nive UI, it only grabs the visible portion of the browser window…same as using the OSX screen grab.
