Seven reasons the Seamless app is the best way to get your favorite foods:

3. We’ve got oodles of restaurants with menus that are always up to date for your ordering satisfaction. Plus, new ones are added daily!
4. Order sushi, pizza, thai or whatever you’re into in a snap, tap, or a click. Its that simple!
5. In the unlikely event snafu happens, we’ve got a team of helpers ready to make it right. Call or email us on the 24/7, we’ll be around.
6. Your credit card and personal information are always safe with us. Plus, tell us once and we’ll remember!
7. With our food tracker you can monitor the progress of your order and get a delivery time. We promise not to judge you for being a food stalker.

In App reviews are misleading
My primary complaint is that the service has grown unreliable, in part because negative in-app restaurant reviews do not seem to post to vendor profiles.
I have used seamless for years. When I practiced law, I placed 1-2 orders a day and found the service reliable. Recently, I’ve had a series of disappointing orders when vendors changed delivery estimates, failed to complete orders, or completed orders hours late. I posted reviews about two particularly problematic vendors detailing my complaints and the reviews were never posted to their profiles. I contacted seamless customer service after a few days and was informed that the review system got “backed up” — which is simply ridiculous, unless seamless edits reviews or permits vendors to edit reviews. It’s been over a week since submitting reviews and they still don’t appear online. From this limited experience, it appears one cannot rely upon reviews to flag unreliable vendors. As a result, I can no longer rely on seamless as I can no longer identify which restaurants provide timely service. Thankfully, as there is increasing competition in this space, I can move on to the competition.
Useful but buggy app
The idea of the app is great, and it generally works ok, but it's got annoying quirks as well.
The biggest bug (on iOS version at least), is that it will continually prompt the user to create a new address. The default address is in the system, but it acts as if there's no address, and the only option is to proceed to create a new address, or to cancel.
This results in having the same address in the app many times over.
Every few uses, one must clean up and delete all the additional unnecessary address accretion, not to mention how annoying it is to have to key in one's address when it's already there.
Additional problems are on the restaurant end, in that they don't consistently make use of the data fields, so sending additional instructions is hit or miss. Perhaps the app/platform is not transferring them over, perhaps they are just being ignored by the restaurant. Something to take heed of if one is particular about the food one is ordering.
Update to my update: it's not as horrible
Update: I was a little harsh when seamless first started looking like whatever it looks like now but the most recent update has made a few improvements. You can see the order total before hitting checkout, thanks. Ok that's only one improvement but it's a big one. Still one star.
Original review: I've never seen an update worse than this. It now takes 4 clicks to change the sorting of restaurants from seamless' terrible standard sort to something actually functional. If you're going to make the automatic order THAT awful at least make it easier for us to change it. I have an iPhone 6 plus and I can see all of 2 restaurant listings at a time because of the new grubhub identical lists. I thought you guys were brilliant for having two such different apps but now you just own two grubhubs. Great job. Menu items are gone, menu item modifiers are gone, and this loyal customer is gone.
Update: thanks for uploading an update with no discernible changes for the consumer that doesn't address a single one of our complaints. Hopefully you wrote our conveniently deleted critiques down so you can at least put them to good use
Update update: oh look, another terrible update. How about fixing the issue of menu items being listed at $0.00+? None of these items start at 0 dollars. Your app is slow I shouldn't have to click a menu item to find out its price
