Why use paper when you have an iPhone?
Secret Santa is easy! Avoid picking your own name or the person you got last year.
1) Enter everyone's name
2) Designate matches to avoid
3) Pass the phone around and let each person draw a name
One of you isn't there with the group? No problem, use a designated picker!
Great for Christmas and other holiday parties!
This is an awesome app!..Our Family draws names every year, so this is perfect...ALMOST!..I like the option that you can chooose who a person on the list should NOT pick, which would of course be Spouses....but if would definately get a 5***** rating from me if there could be an ADDITIONAL option to keep you from choosing the person you had the previous year. Because as it is right now...every time you have to change a name, you have to start all over again picking names, and that would just take forever and sooner or later, it would get so frustrating to everyone, that they would just want to write the names on paper.
This is like a gift to myself
HO! HO! HO! - I cannot wait to show off my iPhone at Thanksgiving and all the little holiday parties in between. I love the ease of this program, Finally, Something functional that aunt Pauline can operate. Also, I don't really understand why you would need to remove more than one person (maybe your spouse) from the secret santa pool of names, If you need to narrow it down to one or a few names you want to pick from, then you are missing the point of Secret Santa. Happy Holidays.
it gets really frustrating
there really needs to be an option for avoid more than one person. my family draws names every year, one for all of the adults and one for all of the cousins and sposes of the cousins ( I do like how the app had groups to easily manage this.) however, this means that some spouses and siblings are in the same drawing (i.e. I can't pick my brother or his wife because i do that with our personal christmas). with only avoiding one person you can only avoid the spouse or sibling, not both. it gets really frustrating because if someone gets the wrong perosn. you have to start all over again.
