Updated to iPhone X
I’ve been using this app for years and it has come a long way. It does everything I would expect of a mobile banking app. I was so happy to find that it was finally updated to utilize the full display of the iPhone X, unlike even some apps that the big banks have out currently. There is one small problem however. While it’s nice that the app uses the whole screen of the iPhone X, the areas at the very bottom where you have options for account, deposit, transfers, and bill pay are too far down and obscured by the home bar at the bottom. Also with the slide out hamburger menu on the top left corner, when it is clicked and it comes out, the “Accounts” option that is selected first in blue is cutting trough the system clock. These are minor complaints, but if you ever get a chance to fix these, it would make the app even that much better.
Works great for me
I really enjoy using this app. I've actually never had an issue, I'm surprised to see such a low star rating.
The app works well for my mobile deposits, transfers within my account although I wish they could incorporate the transfers to other ssfcu member accounts. It's a bit inconvenient having to go to the actual desktop website. (Reason for a 4 star review).
Nevertheless once this small issue is fixed I would change my rating. Either way thank you for the app and the Touch ID login. Way to go on keeping up with technology in comparison to other credit union accounts I have that are still lagging in technology.
Works, but could be better.
This app works the way it’s advertised to, however, I think they can enhance the app by making it more responsive or “snappier” rather than having to wait a few moments every time you click on an option. Also, this app really needs to take advantage of the iPhone X display rather than keeping it native to iPhone 8/8 Plus users. They need to also implement the addition of transferring money between users instead of always having to go to an ATM.
Under the “contact us” tab, it would be helpful if the customer support numbers could be clicked and called from the app instead of memorizing the number to punch it in the Phone app.
