"Schengen 90" visa calculator provides clean and simple interface allowing you to easily calculate number of days you're authorised to stay in Schengen countries with most of the types of Schengen visas.

So called 90/180 days rule generally applies to short-term Schengen visa holders but other types of visitors (e.g. U.S. citizens who travel for business or leisure and do not require a visa) can also fall under these regulations. Please consult with embassies of the countries you'd like to visit to learn more.

The 90/180 rule states that an eligible visitor can be authorised to spend 90 days in total in any 180 days period within the borders of Schengen area.

While this may sound simple in fact it could be challenging to calculate how many days exactly you're permitted to spend on a particular date of entry taking your previous travel history into account.

Another trick is that 180 days interval is moving each day, and for some cases your previous trips can slide out of it while you're already in your travel even if they were within it on the day of entry. Which will result in these days being 'compensated' on the go increasing your final permitted duration of stay.

We designed this calculator because it's just simpler for a machine to perform this kind of calculations and keep your Schengen travel history in one place so you don't need to keep it in mind.

Algorithms of the app are designed to work identically to official web based Schengen calculator which is available on the Eurocomission web site for your reference:

Moreover, we have built a verification system that confirms app result with official Eurocomission web calculator online. This feature is currently available free of charge to all of the users with just a pull down gesture on the main screen of the app!

Stay safe and enjoy your travels with Schengen 90!

Attention:Please note that both "Schengen 90" visa calculator app and official EU web-based calculator can be only used as a reference and final decision about your allowance will be always made by border control officer.

Please use our support email support@schengen90.com to submit your requests if you think something goes wrong with the app. This can also be done from inside the app settings.

Takes the guess work out of something which isn't as simple as I first expected. The 180 days keeps rolling. Once I learned how to use the app I played with it to learn when I could return for the longest period. Thanks!

Schengen Stay Calculations Made Easy

This is a good little application. Takes the work out of figuring how much time one has left in the Schengen zone.

A good addition would be an option to also see how much time one has left based on a projected departure date from Schengen zone.

The scroll calendar is terrible. Why not just use a regular dropdown calendar? Why are some dates colored red? And I have no idea what the small red numbers below the big middle number of days means! There should also be a thing that lets you know what date you can re-enter Schengen. Can't really complain for a free app though.
