Would be nice if they would finally fix the beauty board crashing issue.
I will say the layout looks stylish and easy to navigate, but I'm not giving any app that crashes every time I try to use a feature more than one star. Judging by the other comments, not exactly a new problem either.
Another issue is as a person whose family is extremely pale (came over from Ireland in the 50's) I would like "fair skin" to actually mean that. White fair skin. When I search for items or other users who have found things that work for extremely pale skin, girls who are Latina or African American are basically the exact opposite of what I'm looking for! They have gorgeous skin, but most likely are not going to be able to demonstrate makeup looks that compliment my skin. I'm just now getting familiar with the website, so maybe Sephora has no control over search results, but if anything can be done for accuracy in this area, it would be much appreciated.
You Would Think By Now...
You would think that by now these issues would be solved. The app is nothing more than just a link to the website. Though the app crashes and doesn't respond. What gets me is the design as well. Why every time I leave the app, I have to start all over again is beyond me. So, if I go to another app to check the name or price of an item then I must start all over again.
You would think Sephora's app design team would try to make this as user friendly as possible. Sephora's design team needs to be fired.
Slowest Loading App Ever
I get 30 minutes for lunch. If I use this app on my iPad to place an order on personal, not company time, my lunch break is spent waiting for pages to load. This app is truly that slow. I don't use it to browse--I know exactly what I want. Each step in the shopping/checking out process is agonizingly slow, and before I know it, lunch is over and it's back to work. I can't recommend this app to anyone. Sephora needs to invest the time necessary to fix it.
